The Event

This year's event, “Once Upon A Time”, will present awards themed around classic fictional storybook heroes. We are looking for remarkable young people who have made a difference in their community.
Anyone and everyone is invited to nominate children for an award. All nominated children will receive a certificate in recognition of their contribution to making the world a better place, and 10 winners and their families will be invited to the Believe Awards for an incredible celebration.
Previous winners have included young people who have saved lives, raised money for charity, cared for others, campaigned for justice, or have been eco warriors trying to save the planet.
Together, we will celebrate inspiring stories of courage, fortitude, and selflessness of Merseyside's amazing young people, recognising them with awards presented by our generous sponsors.

The Cinderella Award
For someone who shows quiet strength and selflessness, helping others with kindness, humility, and resilience without seeking recognition.
The Famous Five Award
For a group of young people who are making the world a better place.
The Matilda Award
For someone who brightens the world with a little magic. Using creativity and compassion to make others’ lives more wonderful.
The Paddington Award
For someone who spreads kindness wherever they go. Bringing comfort, joy, and care to those who need it most.
The Alice Award
For someone who inspires others through curiosity and imagination, encouraging others to see the world differently through creativity and wonder.
The Aslan Award
For someone who leads with courage and compassion. Standing up for what’s right and helping others to find strength and confidence.
The Hiccup Award
For a talented young person using their skills to make a difference.
