The Believe Awards 2025
Hidden Treasures

Friday 4th July 2024
Titanic Hotel, Liverpool
The Believe Awards
The Believe Awards began its journey back in 2012, created and coordinated by Ykids, a Bootle based children and community charity. At Ykids, we wanted to challenge the commonly poor representation of young people by bringing to the light those who are an example of resilience, selflessness and the service of others.

The Believe Awards are open to nominations of young people aged 7-17 living in Merseyside. A campaign seeking entries will run for 15 weeks closing 25th May 2025. Our theme this year, ‘Hidden Treasures’ will celebrate remarkable young people who have made a difference in their community. Nominees are then shortlisted to 10 young winners who will be invited with their families to a spectacular event at the beautiful Titanic Hotel Liverpool on Friday 4th July, for an evening of food, entertainment, recognition and celebration.

There are many ways you can get involved. Nominate a young person, sponsor a table, donate a prize or buy a ticket. All proceeds will go towards supporting vulnerable children and young people in our city region.

About Ykids

Who are Ykids?
Our aim is to raise World Changers, creating life-changing opportunities for young people to discover their potential and achieve great things.

Working in Bootle since 2002, Ykids works to improve the lives and futures of children, young people and their families living in some of the UK’s most deprived areas. While our heart and soul are in our local community of Bootle, we actively work across the Merseyside region; providing innovative mentoring programmes, school and street projects, sports & arts initiatives, large community events, parent groups and support, a community pantry and 10 weekly clubs ranging from theatre and the arts, to life skills and sport. We also run an award-winning children’s bookshop and literacy project, Kingsley and Co, which offers a Steam Punk Victorian Explorer experience, discovery room, café, moving bookcases and hidden classrooms and promotes literacy through the joy of story. We even have our very own working Time Machine.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to support Ykids in its mission to change young lives by becoming a sponsor of The Believe Awards 2025, an annual, high-profile event to honour and celebrate the remarkable children and young people of Merseyside.
